ResMed is pleased to announce the release of the ResMed Leak Valve. ResMed’s Leak Valve is a single patient use leak port (1 to 7 days) that incorporates the anti-asphyxia valve (AAV), allowing continuous airflow through the vent holes. In the event of unexpected ventilator failure, the anti-asphyxia valve opens to the air preventing re-breathing of exhaled carbon dioxide. It is recommended to use the ResMed Leak Valve in place of the ResMed Leak Port (24976)
